The GRAPA Revenue Assurance Certification program provides telecoms fraud, internal audit, risk and compliance professionals with the rare opportunity of gaining a comprehensive review of all of the different aspects of Revenue Assurance Management in one session. Students can join the ranks of fraud professionals from the US, Africa, Europe, Asia and South America who have found that GRAPA certification training provides the best coverage of the most topics in the industry today.

Our certification program consists of 2 training modules of 40 hours each (80 hours total):

Week 1 - The Revenue Assurance Practitioner

The Revenue Assurance Practitioner training event (week 1) covers a broad range of topics related directly to the most critical areas of Revenue Assurance and the protection of revenue streams.  The main theme, or overriding topics and trainings associated with this week, focus on the “next generation” revenue assurance disciplines as taught by GRAPA. Students will learn how to re-vitalize, and re-mobilize their revenue assurance efforts. Learn how progressive and innovative RA teams are making Revenue Assurance the hero of the future of their telecoms.

This course focuses on the complete re-shaping of revenue assurance into a light-weight, high-impact, top-line revenue generating business function.

Week one topics include review of:

The overall positioning of revenue assurance within the organization and rationalization for the job, and different ways that RA can work with Internal Audit, Fraud, and Operational Managers to help deliver maximum value to their Opcos.

The course covers the GRAPA Standards, Procedures and the Revenue Assurance Lifecycle, along with GRAPA standard approaches to Revenue Engineering, Revenue Management and the Governance of Revenues.

This one-week program provides students with a review of network operations and the many different areas of network vulnerability. CDR revenue management in mediation, postpaid and other areas is also covered during this course.

Students will then be exposed to an intensive review of the interconnect business, assuring interconnect revenues, and the fraud risks associated with Bypass, SIMbox and other frauds. Equivalent attention is devoted to Roaming, CAMEL and related frauds.

The first week experience is rounded out with review of SMS, MMS, WAP and the new generation of Convergent Billing Systems, as well as the assurance of these systems and operations. There is no better or more complete training in Revenue Assurance than the Revenue Assurance Academy's Revenue Assurance Analyst Training Program.

Students completing this week of study, successfully passing each test, and proving work experience in Revenue Assurance will be awarded the Certified Practitioner of Revenue Assurance (CP-RA) certification at the end of this event.  This certification and training provides ˝ of the requirement for the Certified Master of Revenue Assurance Management certification.

Week 2 - The Revenue Assurance Managers Program

The Revenue Assurance Managers Program is covered during week 2 of each training event. This curriculum provides managers with a comprehensive exposure to the higher level, strategic and organizational issues that drive the establishment and management of a high impact Revenue Assurance department.

The first two days of the Managers Course consist of an in-depth review of the new revenue assurance disciplines of Revenue Maximization. This includes Market Assurance (providing controls and assurance of new promotions and rate plans), Network Asset Assurance (assuring margins on switches, radio equipment and other assets), VNO Assurance, Outsourcing Assurance, Margin Assurance (assuring the profitability of promotions, products and entire lines of business), and more.

Finally, we spend considerable time on the role of Revenue Assurance in the New Product Development process, and in the assurance of new technologies. The next two days of the managers’ course focus on the job and functions of being an RA Manager. Students will learn how to organize their RA Department and how to work with operational managers more effectively. Additional topics to be covered include how to set up and gain additional budget for the department and how to establish the right KPIs.

Finally, we include intensive coverage of the latest, most critical Revenue Assurance and fraud exposures in the 3G, UMTS, NGN, IMS, DOCSIS, GPRS, and other technical domains. Additionally, we will look at the issues that Telcos face associated with Money Laundering and the New Mobile Banking systems being deployed around the world.

Students completing this week of study, successfully passing each test, and proving work experience in Telecoms Revenue Assurance, and providing proof of Certification as a Certification Practitioner of Revenue Assurance (CP-RA)  will be awarded certification as a Master of Revenue Assurance Management (CM-RAM) at the end of this event.
