Revenue Assurance Management and Operations: RAM Certification Training

 

Overview

RA Management and Operations is a Master's Level Certification class designed to help experienced RA Professionals and RA Managers achieve a holistic perspective of the Revenue Assurance function. The course reviews industry standard KPIs, scope, and objectives for RA. It focuses on the techniques that successful departments use to increase their value to top management.

This program explains why more and more RA teams are positioning themselves as integral contributors to the strategic direction of the telco. It provides RA managers and team leaders with the disciplines and techniques for assuring margins, marketing, and new product deployment. Moreover, it helps students navigate internal politics and prove RA value so that high revenue operational managers, new product teams, marketing, and even the CFO will welcome revenue assurance assistance

In order to meet the needs of high-level telecoms managers, this training can be viewed as having three distinct sub-sections:

1. Understanding the Telco Money Machine (Days 1-2)- During these two days of training, we review the relationship between the telco business model, risk, and revenue assurance. 3. RA Managers's Guidebook (Day 3 and Days 4-5) -This course is designed to meet the myriad needs of Telcoms RA Managers and Team leaders. You will learn the industry standard controls, KPIs, and scope of RA teams. Beyond RA standards, we will cover the political issues often faced by RA teams, and we will teach you techniques to internally market your team and expand scope. At its core, the RA discipline can provide numerous benefits to high revenue operations managers, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Finance teams, and even Top management (CEOs/CFOs). The five-day course, which encompasses all of the three sub-sections, will provide you with a thorough, comprehensive training in the most pressing aspects of RA management. However, we understand that RA professionals cannot always get away from the office for one or two weeks at a time, so the RA Management curriculum is divided into three subsections. Each subsection is available as an individual course, or all three can be taken together as the 5-day Master's Certification Program.

Course Prerequisites

The prerequisite for the week is one of the following:

 

1. Experience as an RA, Risk, Fraud or Financial manager

2. GRAPA RA Practitioner Level Certification

3. Special permission from the instructor

 

Note: CPRA - is strongly recommended and the Full Masters of RA is not awarded without 80 hours of training.

 GRAPA Certification

Successful completion of this 5-day course coupled with the CPRA certification get the candidate a Certified Master of Revenue Assurance Management. Candidates without the CPRA will be awarded a Certificate of Participation and Qualification. Candidate will also qualify to take Yellow Belt tests in Margin Assurance, Market Assurance, Revenue Assurance Management, and Revenue Assurance Governance.
